STENO Publishing House, established in 1990 in the town of Varna,
is one of the first private publishers in Bulgaria. So far the company has been publishing significant works in Bulgarian in the fields of medicine, economics, maritime education, philosophy and fiction.

Since 2005, the publishing house has opened a representative office
in Germany and started publishing books in German language.

The publisher operates under the protected trade mark of STENO.
It is one of the leading companies in Bulgaria specialized in publishing maritime education, medicine and economics textbooks. STENO issues five periodic medical journals: Ophthalmology, Oto-rhino-laryngology, Psychiatry, Refraction and Optical Correction, Clinical Psychology, Health Economics and Management.
