An unknown and unmarked mine of unknown date, ownership, and name, consisting of a single adit of about 50 feet in length, exists within the marked area, only about 8 feet away from the waters of Salmon Creek. Despite the location, the mine is one of the only dry mines in the area, if not the only. The portal is near the point of collapse, and is supported by old wooden beams.
