When this mega-convenience store opened in 2009, it originally featured a Shell-branded gas station, but later on Buc-ee's took the gas branding in-house. The Buc-ee's is slightly smaller than newer models but features a full fudge/deli counter and its famous clean restrooms. Around the time the Shell branding was taken down, so went a large electronic sign on the roadside sign. As part of these changes or soon after, the store expanded, demolishing the original "Outdoors" building and building a replacement one (though as of this writing, the replacement building appears to be unused).
