230-foot, 20-story early-modern style office building completed in 1958. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, it has a symmetrical rectangular form. The ends each rise 14 floors to a setback, while the center section of both long sides is set back above the 12th floor. These center sections have ground floors of black polished granite, with horizontal bands of windows with silver metal mullions on the upper floors, separated by bands of blue-grey brick. The end sections of the building have stainless steel piers separating the facades into bays of four windows (five windows in the two middle bays on the north and sides elevations) with silver metal framing. Cream-colored marble spandrel panels replace the earlier blue ones. On the Church Street end of the building, the ground floor has large retail show windows, occupied by Aroma coffee shop, Pret A Manger cafe, The Anne Frank Center USA, and Ray's Barber Shop. 100 Church Street's offices are substantially occupied by NYC Administrative Departments.
