The mahaganapathy is very powerfull and the main offering is otta appam. The temple has renovated recently and now daily lots of devotees are coming to pray and get the blessing of ganesha. It is believed that Parasurama had done the prathishta may be thousands of years back. The scene of temple in the backgound of paddy fields and the huge, old baniya tree is realy a feast to mind and eyes.
