Metal Trades Inc. is located along the intra-coastal waterway on Yonges Island, South Carolina, approximately 20 miles south of Charleston. The 47 acre complex is both a full-service metal fabrication facility and a working shipyard for repairing and servicing vessels of up to 1,500 tons displacement.

Main fabrication shop with 70,000 square feet of floor space, 100+ ton crane lift capacity and 28’ vertical clearance under the crane hook.
Steel Processing Shop with CNC Plasma & Oxy Fuel Burning Tables (up to 10’ x 40’ plates), and CNC controlled Vertical Band Saw for high volume cutting operations
750 ton Press Brake (up to 2 “ thick plate and 12’ width)
Rolling (up to 1” thick plate with 10’ width)
Machine Shop with 18,300 square feet of floor space and 31 machines
Sheet Metal Shop
Sandblasting and Painting Building (approx. 240’ X 70’).
Marine Railways – One 1,000 ton MIL-STD-1625 certified railway, and access to 250 ton and 1,500 ton railways* for dry-docking.
Marine Travel Lift – 150 ton capacity
