Forest Hills is located one block away from Harvey R. Newlin Elementary School. A variety of programs are offered at the center from ceramics classes to a summer camp.

Forest Hills, formerly an old elementary school, was developed for the local community and offers meeting space as well as a game room for the local children. Located behind the center are youth baseball and softball fields, a walking track, and playground. Classes and programs offered range from cooking classes, music, snack night, field trips to the movies, plays, and Old Salen. Sleepovers, parties, and senior adult activities are also offered.
