Owned by UNC and slated for eventual development as UNC's North Campus, this heavily-wooded land is currently riddled with trails for running and mountain-biking and is an extremely popular area for recreation. NO ATV'S OR MOTORIZED VEHICLES PERMITTED. Along Bolin Creek you can find what appears to the be remains of a spillway from an old mill and see the train trestle near Estes Drive from below.
