This monoment built at the Faizabad Internchge, enterance to the Capital City of Islamabad, reminds us of the historic achievement of patriotic and hard working Pakistanis on the day of May 28th 1998, when we test fired 5 Nuclear Atomic Bombs succedfully. The nation will always remain thankful to Dr Abdul Qadir Khan, the founder scientist, Mr Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who laid the foundation of Nuclear Islamic State in 70s and Mr Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who despite all the international pressure carried out these tests in the most critical time of history of Pakistan. We coducted these test only to maintain a equivalence of power in the region which is essential for peace between nations. It is also to mention here that tests were carried out in response to Indian Nuclear tests earlier the same month, which was not the first of their kind, since India had already tried to be nuclear power in Indra Gandhi's time in 70s when they experimented "Smiling Budha", first Indian Atomic Test. Pakistan, although we did it after India went in atomic race, had to face extreme sanctions and was left alone in the world. But by the grace of God, and courage and patriotism, we went throuhg all this and proved ourself to be a successful and challaning country, being 7th Nuclear State in whole world and 1st among Islamic countries.

  • 28th of May, is named Youm-e-Takbeer, the day of great glorification. It also has relation to praise Allah Almighty, or God, simply. We are a Muslim nation and being a strong believer of religion, we can say that it was named to praise God for making us able to accomplish this.
