Originally known as Taman Bandar Baru Kampar, this is the newer part of Kampar, which mostly caters to the large university population of UTAR. A typical scene here during one evening would be the hustle and bustle as students cycle out (or drive) to have dinner, head to the cyber cafes, gym, sports complex, etc. Most visitors to this new township would comment that the building blocks here have a sort of an European architecture and look.

Among the shops here are cafes, hair saloon, mini markets, printing shops, cyber cafes, dobby centres, etc.
