Add category
Man oval-shaped hill located within the areas of Kinta Valley. With a soaring height of about 1230 metres above sea level, this 'mountain range' is best viewed from Kampar and its immediate areas. In fact, it dominates the eastern skies of Kampar, and is the familiar backdrop of the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (utar) Perak campus.
There is a small tarmac road leading to a settlement halfway up the mountain, before hiking trails take over amidst dense jungle. Since 2013, the Perak International Mount Bujang Melaka Challenge was held here where runners have the opportunity to make their way up the mountain, and even to its very top. Those who have been to the top have reported sightings of montane forests at the peak; and that views over the lands below near the trig station were limited.
