(Historic) Mifflin County Courthouse

USA / Pennsylvania / Juniata Terrace / North Main Street, 17
 courthouse, historical building

The old brick courthouse , built in 1843 in Classical Revival style, sits right on the town square and now houses the county historical society. It has a large portico almost covering the front and a clock tower directly above. A huge chimney juts out of the roof at the back. The rear section of the building, noticable by slightly different brick, was added in 1878. The building is now home to the Mifflin County Historical Society, the local Chamber of Comerce and the Vistor's Bureau.
