The new church, as it is often called, was built between 1901 and 1907. It is known that it was built by master Ilia Govedarov and is 25 meters long and 15 meters wide. The impressive church with beautiful wood carvings was consecrated with the rite of full consecration in 1908 by the then Metropolitan of Sofia Parthenius.
One of the relics in the Kremikovtsi Monastery is a gospel from 1497 written by order of the Sofia Metropolitan Kalevit. It is written in large font, beautiful vignettes and capital letters and contains 307 sheets. Of interest are also a triptych from the 16th century and a wooden iconostasis from the 17th century.
