    I grew up in Aruppukottai in early 50s. My classmates and I used to go to Malaiarasan Koil on Sunday afternoons to play near the temple and in cool surroundings. The place used to be lonely, peaceful and serene. But in the recent years, I see several changes and the place is buzzing with activity. Few years back around 2014, I went up the Hill to the temple and had a peaceful worship. Visit to this place gives me great peace and wonderful memories of my childhood.
