  • Palacio de los Abencerrajes (Palace of the Abencerrajes) : It was built under the rule of Muhamed II (1273-1302). It is located in the ‘medina’ and probably was one of the biggest palaces of the Alhambra. The palace, built with a Hispanic-Arab classic structure, had a tower, the ‘Torre de los Abencerrajes’, for residential use and another tower, the ‘Torre de la Perelada’ (which no longer exists) for surveillance and control purposes. It was oriented towards the 'Puerta de la Justicia' access ramp.
