This residency will provide the opportunity for complete immersion in Kalaripayatt training, Ayurvedic massage, yoga and workshops, in related subjects such as Ayurvedic healing, South Indian music (percussion), dance (classical Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam to Bollywood) and Keralan cuisine. By situating the residency in Kerala, we aim to foster a productive mixing of languages, culture, and perspectives during the three weeks. This time will offer you a solid practice, and enriching experiences which you can take home, sustaining you in the context of your daily life. People will be encouraged to take part in organized activities such as walking, hiking and camping in the local area, as well as participating in festivals and art workshops with local schools. (
