Janis and Rémi came to Saskatoon in 1995 as partners of Calories Bakery & Restaurant. A popular dessert and coffee shop, the restaurant expanded under Janis and Rémi’s guidance to a full service licensed dining room. For 17 years, Calories has been included in "Where to Eat in Canada". Calories has been published in Anita Stewart’s recent book "The Flavours of Canada", The Joslin Diabetes Great Chefs Cook Healthy Cookbook, Homemaker’s Magazine, Chatelaine, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Wine Access, Pure Canada Travel, The Financial Post Magazine, Western Living, CBC, national and local newspapers.
