Zurab Tsereteli residence (Moscow)

Russia / Moscow / Moscow / Bolshaya Gruzinskaya ulitsa, 17
 invisible, art studio

Tsereteli is the favorite sculpture of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and his works are scattered all over Moscow much to the dismay of many locals.

Once this place was the private residence of the Georgian tsar. In due course it was destroyed, and in its place was constructed a private residence for the merchant Vasily Gorbunov.

In 1955 a building have transferred to embassy of Germany and used as their consulate. They departed in the 1970s

Now this is the place of Zurab Tsereteli's Moscow workshop. The numerous sculptures presented on the street in front of the private residence also testify to this.
