A beautiful Venetian style building, with lots of Corinthian and Doric features, dating back to 1872 it was originally offices. Devastated by fire in 1987 it was gutted, rebuilt and reopened as a office block. The shops at street level became a Waterstones book shop, now it is a Co-Operative supermarket
