Spanish Landing Park is a long narrow grassy spread, with shade trees, picnic tables, a playground, sandy beach, waterfront walkways and bike paths. The park offers scenic views of the marina, hotels and boats. At the west end of the park is a small, sandy beach.
The site commemorates the 1769 meeting of the Gaspar DePortola and Father Junípero Serra expeditions which started the settlement of Alta California.
