Ay, 1325-1321 B.C.
The elderly Ay was High Priest and among King Tutankhamen's most trusted advisers. He manipulated the young king into disbanding his father's monotheistic religion and putting the old gods — and priests — into power. When Tutankhamen died, Ay inserted himself into the line of succession. He died of old age after a mere four years of rule.

    It is not clear that Ay was the murder of king Tut. Even more it is possible that king Tut died from natural causes. The last investigations on his mummy seems to evidence that.
