The Indiana State Police Memorial consists of a "Walk of Remembrance," which leads visitors to three black granite tablets and an eternal flame. Inscribed on the tablets are the names of the Indiana State Police personnel killed in the line of duty. The sound of Taps echoes on the hour from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm through a grove of trees, which surround the memorial site.
You may visit the memorial Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Sign in at the front desk of the Indianapolis District and you will receive directions to the Memorial site.
