Site of Battery D 519th Anti-aircraft Gun Battalion. M-33 Radar and four 120 MM AA guns. Site outline can be seen (2011). Located north of Columbia River, on Wahluke Slope, on Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Manned by troops from Camp Hanford, north of Richland, WA. Crews lived on site, about 120 enlisted, two officers, gun crews for the four guns, radar crew. Cooks, supply, etc doubled as crew members.
