Popular destination for boaters and anglers alike. Known regionally as an excellent location for catching bass, also an important hub during the duck hunting season in the fall, and for ice fishing in the winter. The town also boasts a clean, safe beach and a splash pad. There are a few restaurants and a liquor store. Boaters should use extreme caution within Mitchell's Bay as it is very shallow (stay in the channels!)
