Notes: This library was the site of a 1915 meeting between U.S. government officials and six Tanana chiefs to discuss land ownership claim disputes between the two entities. These disputes would not be settled until 1971, with the passage of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act when Alaskan Natives were awarded $462.5 million and 38 million acres of land.
