St. Kunibert is one of the twelve Romanesque basilicas near the Rhine in the northern part of Cologne. The church was completed in 1247 and is the youngest Romanesque church in Cologne. It’s interior is full of medieval treasures, from the rich décor to the altars, and the stained glass windows.
St. Kunibert is considered one of the most beautiful churches north of the Gothic Cologne Cathedral. The church is famous for its outstanding stained glass windows, of the early 13th Century.
