The Community centre Alte Feierwache is locatetd adjacent to the medieval city of Cologne. The buildings, constructed in the course of the extension of Cologne starting in 1850 were designed to be a fire station for the northern part of Cologne. Nowadays it is converted to a civil centre with a restaurant, stage, meeting rooms, youth centre, kindergarten and several workshops.
