Originally built by the Central Railroad of New Jersey. The rail line appears to be offset, which was done intentionally by the CNJ to add a second track if future traffic warranted it. The extra traffic never materialized and the bridge stayed single tracked. Now used by the Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad, it's a popular spot to slow excursion trains for passengers to enjoy the view.
