Lower Polezhansko Lake

Polezhanski Lakes are group of two lakes located below the peak Polezhan. One of the lakes is located 2,710 meters above sea level, making it the highest lake in Pirin Mountain. It has a round shape and area of 2.20 decares. The second lake is 900 meters above sea level. Its area is 11.80 decares. The waters of both lakes flow into the river Retizhe.
