A beautiful village with ponds/lakes surrounding it. It is known for silk cloth but this industry is on its way to extinction. Weekly market is on Saturday. People mainly occupied with paddy farming. Annual fairs are held on the day of Bhaubij(5th day of Diwali festival) and on 26 Jan. On 26 Jan bullock race is also held.
