  • It is a dam over Bahuda river constructed for the purpose of irrigation and fishing.it has an earthen dam of 1.645km length and two canals on either side.it is a great scenic place surrounding with a nature beauty.A famous sakhti pitha called MAA KUREISUNI TEMPLE is situated near by it.
  • it is agood project of government but till today govt cant satisfy the rehabilitants and also govt biass the 20 sc families by not giving them the patta,when officials rehabilitat them ,officials accept their all demands but wten the dam is on the final stage now govt officials teach them law.is it fair?thats why the chheligada project cant complete.and in near future there is some problem also going to create.no political persons also going there after election.the people are in meserable condition.govt also didnot regulerise the emploies belongs to the rehebletate family.after rehalibitation govt also not interest to give them proper livelihood.though it is near to naxal prone area.we cant know wher the administration spend the special aid of central govt for eradication of naxal problem. pereheps it also a main cause of naxalism. the rehebilitant are caring a miserable life here for last 12years.no one is taking the responsibility.govt also biased by the false official data.we hope govt may be take necerrary steps to improve their livelihood.
  • I am the inhabitant of that area and the reservior which was built and completed and the displaced families are lying in barren field. No any proper aid/rehabilitation provided to the displaced families. I am the eyewitness to the desperate and poor families. U can see them live before the reservoir and their living of standard after the reservoir. Now as per the demands of the displaced families of that area a Govt Hosp was to be constructed in the are hiapada but due to some political reasons it is no to be constr in that area and the proj is cancellecd. The Ex-Sarpanch Shri Shyamaghan Sabar was tried in his best effort and no satisfactory result come out in this regard. The boys of that area those who were used to work there since 10-15 yrs were NOT rpt NOT provided regular posts in their respective posns. Finally I request the Govt of Odisha to re-investigate the matter and provide proper valuation of their Ex-Property and manage them in proper standard.
