  • I visited salia dam four years ago by four wheeler. That time the road from bhagabati temple to salia dam is very rough. Now we want to visit that place coming december. So I want to know is it possible to visit that place by bus.
  • Hi Jyoti. i wanted to tell u that if u go by bus, there are two ways u can go.1st one is from balugaon to banpur and then banpur to the dam. this way is rough. But if u go from ganjam side i.e kodla to beguniapada to sumandal to angargaon to the dam u will get the best road.If u need any more suggestion be free to contact me +919438417352,Debasis Pattanayak
  • If one starts to go from Khallikote, the Road is excellent from Khallikote to Sumandal. From there, the single road is also good. If one starts from NH5 side, one may go from Kanheipur Junction to angarugaon and beyond. road from banpur side is risky. Only two wheelers or small vehicles can pass effortlessly.

  • I went there last Monday(7th June) and I went from near Chilika Dhaba(the road that goes under the NH5 bypass), the distance is about 20KM and the first 15km is not that good but manageable. I returned through Banapur. This road is better but there is a lot of construction activity going on there. But if one wants to go via bus then take the road from Khallikote
  • But now in 2018 the road from Banpur is constructed by the gobt. of Odisha and is much better from before. But the other road from Angargaon has bee damaged and is rough since lots of trucks pass for the transport of woods. Thank you.
