A'Bars was a longstanding Windsor landmark. Used in the rumrunning days of the roaring 20's as a speakeasy, it has hosted a variety of famous people. In those days, it was a favorite of the Detroit Tigers and other characters such as the legendary Al Capone. Built in 1890. Demolished 2016.
