East Riverside Community of Windsor Ontario founded in 1996. The more northern sections of the neighbourhood (along Riverside Drive and Jarvis Street) were built much earlier, and were part of the Town of Riverside until its merger with Windsor in 1966. Home to 3 Stormwater Management reservoirs, (Aspen Lake, Blue Heron Lake, and Florence Lake) the area previously had several creeks running through it and would frequently flood.
