lake, swamp

Fifth largest water body in Clermont.
Flat Lake is a groundwater fed seasonally interconnected swamp/pond chain 89 feet above mean sea level, east of Lake Louisa bordering the Clermont city boundary that is shaped like Quetzalcoatl breathing fire at Lake Louisa itself.
It is unusually isolated from other lakes in the region of Florida it is in and isn't part of any chain of separate lakes.
The marshland hosts a rather large population of the endangered Florida Sandhill Crane and Scrub Jay possibly due to it's isolation.
