These are the boundaries of Baptist Church Compound owned by Cannadian Missionaries who established Baptist Mission in Tuni.. They distributed almost half of the property to the Church members.And you can still have a visit to the Baptist mission Compound here next to Scott Memorial Baptist Church.. -SamPraveen

  • Good afternoon. My great grandfather and great grandmother (George F. and Marie Currie) were the founding Canadian Missionaries in 1877. I was able to visit the Church and compound three years ago. I was warmly welcomed by the congregation and received many blessings. It was the highlight of my trip to India. Russell R. Currie
  • Sorry an addition and correction to previous post. It was in June, 1878, that my great grandfather George F. Currie gained possession of two and a half acres of land for the compound at Tuni, the price being 320 rupees or about $150. Cheers, Russell
