This school houses all of Pine-Richland School District's students from grades four, five and six, a total of about 1200 students. The 36-acre parcel the school occupies was formerly part of Eden Hall Farm (now the Eden Hall campus of Chatham University), and was purchased by the district for $792,000.

A notable student here is Jackie Evancho, opera-singing sensation known from the TV show America's Got Talent.
