Former site of the hotel. The hotel, which was later known as The Sandberg Lodge, was built by Harald Sandberg in 1914. It originally had a sign that said "No Dogs or Truck Drivers Allowed" by the front door. While the last operator of the lease, Mr. Walter "Lucky" Stevens, was renovating the property in anticipation of opening a children's camp, sparks from the fireplace started a fire on the roof and the hotel burned to the ground on April 29,1961. Only ruins remain.
