KUITA a small village of four shahis-Mojhi Shahi, Posi Shahi, Dhippa Shahi and Kollha Shahi under Pantha Panchayat,Jashipur Block,Mayurbhanj District. There is a very very old and beautiful Shiva Temple at the corner of the Mahadev Shal Jungle.A must visit place to Kuinteswar Mahadev Mandir on occasion of Maha Vishuba sankranti(14th April) and Shiv ratri. Odinarily 80+ families reside in this tiny hamlet. Basic earning of the residents is cultivation.A Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Middle English school is there for the junior champs of the village. Recently, a petrol pump has come up along NH6 at Kuita Chhaka, there by attracting crowd to open up few dhabbas/grocery shops/betel shops beside the pump station.
