A man from Tarikhel tribe lived here, his name was Samand Khan.
This village(Samandiwala) is named on his name. A very vast Ground known as "Bhanr" was the property of samand khan. This village is popular due to "Tobha" (Natural Water Pond) & Bhanr(Play Ground). These points are center of the cultural activities of our village. Population of our village is approx 3000. Kabaddi and volley ball are favorite sports of our village. Main tribe of this village are Mustafa Khel, Samandi khel, Dor khel, Hamyun Khel, Gajru Khel, Karru Khel, Nasir Khel, Sidali Khel, Khanzady Khel, Akhteyar Khel.
