The Franklin Levering Cary Memorial Quadrangle Residence Hall is named for the son of Franklin Cary, Sr. Franklin Levering died as a toddler.

Cary Quad was built with a capacity of 933 students, and has recently housed over 1200. It is comprised of four main buildings, with the north and south buildings divided into Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast designators. The East, North, and West halls have undertaken complete renovation since 2000. The south halls have been mildly renovated to meet building safety codes, but have retained largely their original construction.

Cary Quad is an all-male residence.
