This is the house of late Mr. Shankara Menon who died at a very young age in the year 1962. One of the first residence of Kavalpad, Palghat , Kerela. His family of 6 childred was born and brought up here. At present his youngest son Mr.Radha Krishnan Menon stays here with his children. Late Mr. Shankar Menon was a very ambitious man he was the owner of Laxmi Vilas Hotel at Palghat Bus junction. Today the hotel has changed many hands but the name still remains. At kavalpad this family had one of the larges farm land and cultivated Rice on a large scale. This family also had many cattle. In 1962 this was one of the families who owned a four wheeler. He was a very generous man and I am proude to be called his grand son.
