Wild trees villa is a beautiful villa near the banks of pooyumkutty river and is in the centre of a rubber estate owned by Dr.Baby Mathew. It is a 3 storied building with 5 bed rooms and with attached bathrooms, a dining hall, drawing room and a kitchen. Rooms with mountain views and river views are available for a very good rate.There is a huge terrace from where we can hear the whispering river and view the virgin mountains. Opposite to the villa is the river and the forest land.Occasionally elephants come to drink water from this river and also at times deer’s comes from the forest. About 14 kilometers from the villa is the Dr.Salim Ali world famous bird sanctuary.Close to Munnar along the lower reaches of the Western Ghats, the sanctuary, spread over 25 sq kms, attracts nature lovers especially bird watchers in droves.We arrange trekking trips,birdwatching trips and adventure trips to the forest.
