Akhun Salak Baba's descendents live in Harrori Khakoo village council near Battal, District and Tehsil Mansehra. Akhun Salak Baba's real name was Sayyed Akbar Shah but his title was Akhun Salak. This title was given by the people because of his piety. The first name "Sayyed" and the last name "Shah" indicates that he belonged to Sayyed family. Many writers link his family tree to Imam Husain. In Harrori Khkoo village council the people are called Akhun Kheils and all Akhun Kheils are descendants of Sayyed Akbar Shah AKA Akhun Salak Baba who is buried in Akhun Salak Baba Ziarat near lower Kabul Gram, on the west side of Indus river and north bank of Ital Khwar (river). Akhun Baba's son was M. Ashraf Shah (Swato Baba) and Swato Baba's son was M. Awila Shah and Awial Shah's son was M. Safa Shah. M Safa Shah had 3 sons. First son (Mirza Shah) whose descendants live in Mohalla Gohar Abad of upper Harrori. His second son was Mohtarim Shah whose descendants live in lower Harrori. His 3rd son was Azam Shah. Azam Shah had 4 sons. First son was Yousuf Shah whose descendants live in Shingreta. His second son was Shah Husain whose descendants live in upper Harrori. His 3rd son was Ghulam Husain whose descendants live in Khakoo. His 4th son was Hasan Ali. Hasan Ali had 3 sons. His first son was Qudratullah whose descendants live in Mohalla Rehman Abad of upper Harrori. His second son was Nazir Shah whose descendants live in Bhati. His 3rd son was Sher Ali whose descendants live in Naseem Abad. Shah Husain Baba had 4 sons. His first son was Khani Zaman whose descendants live in Mohalla Ali Abad of upper Harrori. Hi second son was M. Zaman whose descendants live in Mohalla Bahadur Abad of upper Harrori. His 3rd son was M. Jan whose descendants live in Mohalla Sultan abad of upper Harrori. His 4th son was Malak Aman whose descendants live in Mohalla Qasir Abad of upper Harrori. Mohtarim Shah had 3 sons. His first son was Shah Wali whose descendants live in Mayra. His second son was Qasim Shah whose descendants live in lower Harrori. His 3rd son was Atta Shah whose descendants live in lower Harrori. Note: All names written above end up with the last Name "Shah". For brevity some names are written without last name "Shah". This family tree was compiled by Sayyed Iqbal Shah, retired former MTO and Director and currently Naib Nazim, Harrori Khakoo village council.
