This was the former Astronaut Hall of Castle Heights Military Academy. It's primary residents were Junior School boarding cadets. It was built in the late 1960's and named in honor of serving American astronauts. There was a honor area listing the astronauts names in the cadet common room. The building is used by private businesses today.
