This large block is the former location of the San Francisco Seals baseball stadium from 1931-1959. The park was the home field of the San Francisco Seals minor league team and the original home of the San Francisco Giants for two years while Candlestick Park was being constructed. It was demolished in 1959.

  • Thank you for blocking it out so clearly. Many people say it's the spot of the current Potrero Center, but I can see that's only half of it.
