The upper end of this canyon gets quite narrow. When the water level of Lake Powell is near full, these narrow slot canyons are fun to explore with canoes and kayaks. Eventually, the canyon gets so narrow that a canoe will get wedged in. Then you must paddle backwards to get back out.
