Bucklands Open Space (Teddington)

  The area highlighted on the photo above is NOT Bucklands Open Space but is a private estate. Bucklands Open Space is the small grassy area just north-west of the highlighted area. It seems to be surrounded by private property and only accessible by the public by boat! Despite living in Teddington for years I only found this place while canoeing up the backwater behind Trowlock Island, and only knew it was open to the public because there was a sign saying so. It looks as if it is the communal garden of some houses backing onto it.
