A sitio of Barangay Sibacungan, Municipality of Bato, Province of Catanduanes, 2 km from Bato, 9 km from Virac. Rich in agricultural and water resources (fresh and brackish); Contstruction,Farming, Fishing are the major works of its residents. A higher number of professionals and skilled workers and racial closeness makes this sitio a progressive and competitive community. Balongbong Falls, Balongbong Bridge, Bato River, Balongbong Hydro Power Plant and Dam site are its pride for tourism. Balongbong is a name originated from local word "balonbon" which means brownish river sand, according to some pioneers in this place.
