  • in planning since the 1980s. Don't hold your breath.
  • If you've been there recently, you'll see they are building the supports for the walkway up to it
  • They have no funding to actually convert the bridge, though. Karem is trying to get it included in the Bridges/Spaghetti Junction funding, but even then the earliest construction could start is 2009. That's a pretty unlikely scenario, though, even though it's the only one on the table for getting funds.
  • just drove past here. pedestrian spiral ramp on this side is almost done. Nothing on the other side, though.
  • The south ramp is finished. Work is beginning on the bridge itself. The north side ... well ... until we can rid ourselves of our idiot mayor nothing will even be considered. He's too busy trying to shove a canal down our throats.
